- Geant4 : is a toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter. Its areas of application include high energy, nuclear and accelerator physics, as well as studies in medical and space science.
- Python : il s'agit de l'utilisation des librairies spécialisées de Python pour la simulation en electromagnétisme.
- Root : is a framework for data processing, born at CERN, at the heart of the research on high-energy physics.
- Elmer FEM : Elmer is a finite element software for multiphysical problems published under open source. Elmer is mainly but not exclusively developed by CSC – IT Center for Science. The purpose of this site is to host services for the benefit of the user community.
- FEMM : FEMM is a suite of programs for solving low frequency electromagnetic problems on two-dimensional planar and axisymmetric domains.
- Openfoam : OpenFOAM is the leading free, open source software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD), owned by the OpenFOAM Foundation and distributed exclusively under the General Public Licence (GPL). The GPL gives users the freedom to modify and redistribute the software and a guarantee of continued free use, within the terms of the licence.
- SciLab : is free and open source software for numerical computation providing a powerful computing environment for engineering and scientific applications.
- GNU Otave : is a high-level programming language primarily intended for scientific computing and numerical computation. language that is mostly compatible with MATLAB.
- Rasaero : un logiciel spécialiste en aérodynamique des lanceurs. Plusieurs options possibles intéressantes pour les lanceurs supersoniques.
- OpenRocket : le logiciel libre pour la conception et la simulation de lanceurs légers (fusex, minif)
Il existe également des logiciels gratuits sous condition :
- ANSYS : un des meilleurs logiciels professionnels gratuit pour les étudiants.
- SIMSCALE : une solution on-line ; utilisation limitée.
